蔓穂（つるぼ）Scilla scilloides

球根ゆり科つるぼ属　原産地　日本、朝鮮半島
開花期　８～９月　　花径　３ｍｍ位(花穂１０ｃｍ位)　　草丈　５０ｃｍ位まで
名前はお公家が参内するとき使用する、長柄傘をたたんだ形に似ていることから、つけられているそうです。このことから参内草（さんだいぐさ）とも呼ばれています。日本全国に分布しています。日当たりの良い草地や山野に生え、咲き始めはつくしにそっくりです。小さい集団花で花穂は長く、薄白ピンクの美しいお花をたくさんつけます。葉は細長いニラ状でムスカリに似ており球根も酷似しているそうです。ご覧のお花は多摩川の土手で撮りました。色の濃いのと薄いものが混在していましたが、白っぽいのは初めて見ました。
